Money Made Manageable
Hi, and welcome! I’m a finance professional and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 15 years of experience helping small businesses take control of their finances and grow with confidence.
I created Money Made Manageable as a practical, down-to-earth resource for business owners who are ready to understand their numbers — even if they’re not “numbers people.” Whether you’re just starting out or running a growing company, this blog is here to demystify bookkeeping, taxes, cash flow, and everything in between.
From Corporate Finance to Small Business Champion
Before launching this blog, I spent more than a decade working in corporate finance roles — from staff accountant to controller to CFO. I’ve worked with fast-paced startups, service-based businesses, and multi-million dollar companies across a variety of industries. Each experience gave me a deeper appreciation for how critical clear, strategic financial guidance is to sustainable business success.
What I also saw, time and time again, was that even the smartest, most capable business owners sometimes felt overwhelmed by the financial side of running a business.
That’s what inspired me to create Money Made Manageable — to bring clarity and confidence to small business finance, and to be a supportive, judgment-free guide along the way.
What You’ll Find Here

Why It Matters
If you’re like most entrepreneurs I’ve worked with, you started your business because you’re passionate about your work — not because you love reconciling bank statements. But as your business grows, understanding your finances becomes non-negotiable.
Knowing your numbers helps you:
- Make smarter decisions
- Spot problems before they become crises
- Hire at the right time
- Pay yourself consistently
- Build a business that actually supports your life
Financial clarity isn’t just about spreadsheets. It’s about freedom. It’s about confidence. It’s about peace of mind.
A Bit More About My Background
I hold a degree in economics and am a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). My career in finance has spanned over 15 years, with a focus on helping businesses improve their financial operations, increase profitability, and prepare for sustainable growth. I’ve led teams, implemented systems, and guided companies through periods of both rapid growth and challenging transitions.
But my favorite part of the job has always been empowering business owners. I love helping people see that finance doesn’t have to be intimidating — and that with the right tools and support, they can take control and thrive.
This blog is my way of taking that work a step further — by reaching more people, sharing helpful resources, and making small business finance feel less daunting for everyone.
What I Believe
- You don’t need to be a “numbers person” to manage your money well. You just need the right approach and support.
- Knowledge is power. When you understand your financials, you make better, more confident decisions.
- Every business deserves access to trustworthy financial guidance. You shouldn’t have to hire a full-time CFO to get help.
- You can build a business that works for you. With smart financial systems, your business can support your life — not the other way around.
Let’s Build Something Great Together
Running a business is hard enough — you shouldn’t have to figure everything out on your own. That’s why this blog exists: to give you a trustworthy, experienced guide you can count on as you grow.
